Realistic Ship Chassis
This was a challenging project that involved significant amounts of vector mathematics, as well as a unique solution to combat network-based disruption from clients with a slower network speed.

Challenge
I was tasked with creating a boat chassis suitable for a large vessel, namely a simulation of the Carpathia, a rescue vessel that is used in Virtual Valley Games' game The Titanic, capable of simulating wave dynamics and inertia, for the large vessel.
Solution
I used vector mathematics and damped harmonic motion solvers to implement a chassis that would position itself according to the underlying wave dynamics of the sea, as well as a complex input management system and internal solvers to provide a sense of inertia for such a large vessel.
